Karina Brown is the managing director of Home Instead Bromley which she opened in June 2013 and which now supports 105 clients and employs 85 local staff.
Karina and her team are passionate about making the lives of older people as easy and enjoyable as possible.
Prior to opening Home Instead, Karina worked as a solicitor for the Official Solicitor’s office which is part of the Ministry of Justice, where she represented those who may lack mental capacity in relation to their property and affairs.
Home Instead were among the first homecare providers in the UK to begin weekly COVID-19 testing of their staff. Karina Brown, managing director of Home Instead Bromley, shares initial experiences with the Social Care blog and the Department of Health and Social Care to help shape future workplace testing.
