New survey seeks views on improving mental health services for the young

The Children and Young People’s Mental Health and Wellbeing Taskforce (CYPMH) has not been idle in seeking valuable data and insight into how we can work together to improve mental health services for our youth.

clip_art_illustration_of_a_womans_head_filled_with_scary_thoughts_0515-1101-2618-5354_SMUThe Department of Health has now launched a survey targeted at mental health professionals who work with children and young people - not just from the medical sector, but also teachers, social workers, youth workers, those working in offender management and other relevant professions.

The survey will run until 5 December 2014 and the responses will inform the work of the taskforce in developing and publishing recommendations on how to improve mental health services for the young.
