Social Care News

Posted by: , Posted on: - Categories: Uncategorised

The Department of Health’s dedicated site for news, information and conversations for anyone working in - or receiving support from - the care and support or social care sector.

Alongside Director General for Social Care Jon Rouse’s blog on the issues of the day, the Social Care News blog seeks to inform, engage and inspire.

As the work towards better integration of health and care services continues, we will feature regular updates on the major policy announcements, training opportunities and initiatives we believe will be of major interest to care providers, carers and those using care and support services.

From dementia awareness and vulnerable older people, to compassionate care and reducing avoidable premature mortality, we will cover the the big issues of the day.

We will also post the latest on the work of health and wellbeing boards, local authorities, NHS England and other organisations involved in commissioning and providing care and support services.

I work in the health and social care sector(private) and would appreciate very much to receive social care news and updates in order to keep up with current changes in policies and practice.I am also interested in developing myself professionally in this field.
