Zoe Fry is a Director of the Outstanding Society Community Interest Company who share and celebrate best practice across social care whilst helping others to improve.
She is a registered nurse who began working in care homes at the age of thirteen.
Her NHS career saw her quickly work her way to surgical ward sister, matron for general medicine. Zoe then developed her business skills as a General Manager.
In 2008, Zoe purchased a nursing home and transformed it, celebrating outstanding ratings from the CQC in 2014 and then again in 2017. She feels privileged to work in social care.
Zoe Fry, a director of The Outstanding Society, has recently been honoured with an OBE for her contributions to social care and nursing. She explains how humbled she felt to receive it and the journey which brought her to this point in her latest blog.
