NCAS 2015: DH schedule at a glance

Posted by: , Posted on: - Categories: Events

There’s never been a dull moment at NCAS for the Department of Health  – and this year will be no different!

Frankly, we wouldn’t have it any other way. Across the three days, we’re fielding seven main conference sessions, two not-to-be-missed breakfast meetings hosted by our DH Director General for Social Care Jon Rouse, and a meet and greet with the Chief Social Worker for Adults Lyn Romeo. We’re also looking forward to hosting a drop in session with our good friends from NHS England’s Better Care Fund team.

If you didn’t know it already, the conference takes place at the Bournemouth International Conference Centre, opening with registration at 8.30am on Wednesday 14 October, closing with lunch at 1.15pm on Friday 16 October.

The Bourne (health) Ultimatum
The now famous DH lounge, complete with comfy seating, phone charging and nearby caffeine delivery system, makes a welcome return in the Bourne Lounge on the second floor of the conference centre. And while we can’t promise an appearance from Matt Damon as the titular secret agent, we can at least aspire to his levels of fitness with a workout on our smoothie bike. That’s right, you can pedal for passion fruit, change gear for grapefruit and ding your bell for banana. Don’t ask me how it works – come and find out for yourself!
