As a department we are always looking for new and effective ways to communicate our work and that of our sector partners. To this end, we hope visitors to this blog are also aware of the excellent Dementia Challenge site managed by our fine colleagues in the digital team.
The site exists to support the Prime Minister's Dementia Challenge, launched in March 2012 to make a positive difference in the lives of those living with dementia, their friends, families and carers.
Keen not to rest on their laurels, the team are running a survey to find out what visitors do and don't like about the site and if there are any improvements or additions they'd like to see.
Drawing in news, initiatives and milestone events from the Department of Health, Alzheimer's Society, Alzheimer's Research UK, Public Health England, Health Education England and others, it aims to showcase the latest developments in the fight to delay - and ultimately cure - dementia in all its forms. Take a look at the sections and links on Dementia Friends, Dementia Friendly Communities and improving research to see how broad and committed the work is across organisations, towns and cities throughout the country.
The survey is open now and runs until 14 October 2014. Please do take a look at the site and tell our digital colleagues what you think.
