NCAS 13: funding reform breakfast session: come and share your views

Posted by: , Posted on: - Categories: Uncategorised

We heard Norman Lamb yesterday afternoon talking about the new landscape for health and care. He spoke about the need to transform services, create person centred care, of the challenges that lie ahead and the support the Government will provide to tackle them.

Funding reform of care and support certainly presents some challenges. The reforms define a new partnership between the state and the individual but whilst the Care Bill provides the framework, many of the details are still to be determined.

Come and join Jon Rouse Director General for Social Care for breakfast 8.00 – 9.00 in Queens Suite 1 on Friday morning to talk about some of the wicked issues of funding reform. Jon and his team will be taking your wicked issue suggestions via twitter (#CBimp and #NCASC13) that you want to tease-out, work-through and ruminate on over your breakfast.

Join the conversation on funding reform.

Is this an invite to meet and talk to Jon Rouse in person or an invite to twitter on Friday morning?
