We may have a dedicated Department of Health lounge area at NCAS this year, but there will be no lounging about by DH policy colleagues as we prepare to deliver breakfast sessions, workshops and ‘meet and greets’ across the three days.
Our regular site visitors already know the broad scope of our engagement this year, which includes updates and discussions around the Care Bill, funding reform, integration and personalisation. Emphasis will also be placed on close working with our sector partners, LGA and ADASS, as we work together to deliver the implementation strategy.
Secretary of State Jeremy Hunt, Minister for Care and Support Norman Lamb, and Director General for Social Care Jon Rouse will all be speaking at NCAS as well as participating in additional conference events across the three days.
