The Department of Health is leading a cross-government review of the 2010 adult autism strategy, ‘Fulfilling and Rewarding Lives’, and is looking for people to give their views about how they think the strategy is working so far.
This work is about creating equal opportunities for people with autism, by raising awareness, providing training and making reasonable adjustments to everyday services.
By reviewing the progress of local authorities, health and wellbeing boards and the NHS in improving the lives of people with autism in their communities the Department of Health will able to check whether the objectives of the strategy are still fundamentally relevant.
